Stop Bridge Fractures. Start Engineering.
A dental bridge is only as strong as its weakest link: the Connector. Many CAD designs fail because the connector area is too thin or the embrasures are too sharp, creating stress points for Zirconia.
Our Dental Bridge Design Service applies strict engineering principles. We calculate the minimum cross-section area (e.g., 9mm² for posterior Zirconia) based on the material’s strength, ensuring your bridge lasts for years, not months.
Technical Engineering Specs
We customize the design based on the clinical situation and material:
Structural Integrity
- Connectors: Shaped to maximize strength while maintaining open embrasures for hygiene (flossability).
- Path of Insertion: Auto-surveyed to find the common path between divergent preparations without over-cementing gap.
- Span Length: We verify Ante’s Law to warn you if the abutments cannot support the span.
Pontic Profiles
- Ovate: Convex tissue contact for healed extraction sites (creates a natural emergence).
- Modified Ridge Lap: The standard for aesthetics and hygiene.
- Sanitary/Hygienic: Raised pontics for non-aesthetic posterior zones (upon request).
Why Outsource Bridges?
Checking the parallelism of multiple preps and designing proper pontic pressure takes time. By outsourcing to China Dental Designs, you get a verified design that drops in passively. We handle large span bridges (Roundhouse) overnight, so your mill is ready to run in the morning.
Submission Workflow
- Scan: Ensure margins are clear. For long spans, verify scan stitching accuracy.
- Specify: Material (Zirconia/PMMA/Metal) and Pontic Design preference.
- Receive: Download the production-ready STL file by 8:00 AM EST.
Complex Long-Span?
Do you have a 6+ unit bridge? Send it to us. We will optimize the connectors for maximum durability.
