Raw intraoral scans (IOS) are not printable. They have holes, artifacts, and open meshes. Our Digital Model Design Service transforms raw scan data into clean, water-tight, printable STL files.
We understand that resin cost is a major expense for labs. That is why we specialize in Hollow Models. We optimize the wall thickness (e.g., 2.5mm) and place strategic drain holes to prevent suction forces and minimize resin usage.

Model Configurations
- Geller Models (Sectioned): Removable dies with precision friction fit. Ideal for crown & bridge checking.
- Solid Models (Ditched): Margins are virtually ditched/trimmed for clear visibility. Ideal for contacts checking.
- Implant Models: Soft tissue mask (Gingiva) and Digital Analog holes (e.g., Elos, Dess, NT-Trading).
Print Optimization
- Mesh Repair: We close all holes and remove floating artifacts (“noise”) from the scan.
- Labeling: Case ID or Patient Name embossed/engraved on the side for easy identification.
- Base Design: Plateless (low profile) or Horseshoe shape to fit more models on the build plate.
